The foundation
everything else
rests on
Stairs, pads, and walkways poured on engineered base with rebar, control joints, and the finish you want smooth, broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped.

Mix. Base. Rebar.
Finish comes last
Concrete that lasts in Toronto comes down to the mix, the base, and the reinforcement, not just the finish. We use 32 MPa air-entrained mix, rebar grids, and properly compacted granular base. Then we add the finish you want: smooth, broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped to look like flagstone.
Engineered Mix
Air-entrained, high-PSI mix specified for Canadian winters.
Reinforced Right
Rebar grids and dowels — not chicken wire.
Finish Options
Smooth, broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped patterns.
From string line to set
- 01
Layout & excavation
Mark the pour, excavate to subgrade, prep edges and slopes.
- 02
Base & forms
Compacted granular A base, formwork built to grade with proper slope for drainage.
- 03
Rebar & prep
Rebar grid, dowels into existing concrete, vapor barrier where required.
- 04
Pour & finish
Air-entrained mix placed, screeded, floated, and finished to spec.
- 05
Cure & seal
Wet-cure for 7 days, control joints cut, optional sealer applied.
Four ways to finish
In the mix
- 0132 MPa air-entrained concrete
- 0210M / 15M rebar grids
- 03Compacted granular A base

- 05Penetrating siloxane sealer
Common questions.
Will it crack?+
All concrete cracks somewhere — that's why we cut control joints. With proper base and rebar, structural cracks shouldn't happen.
Stamped vs exposed aggregate?+
Stamped looks like stone but can be slippery and needs re-sealing. Exposed aggregate is naturally textured and very low maintenance.
How soon can I walk on it?+
24 hours for foot traffic, 7 days for vehicles, 28 days for full design strength.
